With an evocative depth and nourishing profile, this tea is like a whimsical old friend: approachable, responsive, multifaceted. Masterful processing and storage present leaves with a character well beyond their years. A top-notch Shou Pu'er for exploring brewing style and intentional practice.
An elegant aged fragrance swirls in a thick, nourishing brew that tempers the gut and roots the mind. Don't be afraid to brew deeply: this tea does well with a long rinse (40s-1min) followed by ~20s hot steeps, especially when the pot exudes an intoxicating fragrance!
Lincang is a remote mountain region deep within Yunnan. Our love affair with Pu’er began with teas from here, back in 2014. This tea is a symbolic homage to our own journey’s beginning. Steep deeply!
