Lincang (Lin-Song) is a remote tropical mountain region renowned for producing Shou Pu’er with a rich, sweet profile.
Wherever you are on your tea journey, this tea will meet you there. This tea is a close cousin of Riverbed, in region and style. Where Riverbed is ideal for focused, skill-testing tea ceremony, this tea is a comparable, more accessible daily drinker. Like hopping boulders across a deep river, you can rely on this tea as a “rock” in your daily practice.
Sweet and smooth, rich and resilient. "Old tea-garden" leaves, expertly fermented and aged loose for 10 years. Pressed in 2024, this tea is ripe for a reliable relationship that will only build over time.
Note: The leaves are roughly grade "4" on the size scale, meaning more surface area than typical big leaf tea. This tea will steep quickly, potently, and smoothly, especially after a long initial discard brew.
