We curate a focused selection of teas from Yunnan Province, the ecological and cultural headwaters of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis).

The health of ancient tea forests is integral to the lifeways of indigenous tea cultivators. We source in ways that truly support and respect their efforts.

Below the teas are organized by region:

- The Lincang Collection highlights Pu'er, especially Ripe/Shou.

- The Jingmai Collection explores mountain-specific terroir, through a variety of tea styles.

Our sourcing is guided by these principles:

Old Trees, Old Leaves

We highlight tea that improves with age, and is harvested from old-tree forest ecology. This applies especially to Pu’er, but also to Aged White and Red teas.

Tea with Impact

Beyond flavor, the right tea can give rise to palpable emotions, memories, stories, and somatic experiences.

Deep Steeps

Tea that allows for many steeps (10+) which reveal multiple layers of complexity, and are also relatively easy and non-elusive for beginner tea-lovers.
